	Report on the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting for APEC Future Education Consortium

As notified, the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting for APEC Future Education was convened in Hanoi, Viet Nam from Feb. 24 to 26. In attendance were 18 delegates from 10 economies including Dr. Tran Van Nhung, Vice-Minister, Viet Nam Ministry of Education and Training, and Dr. Young-Soon Kang, Director, Korea Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development. Through the meeting, delegates agreed to the participants and operation for APEC Future Education Forum and ICT Model School Network. The following is an overview of the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting for APEC Future Education Consortium in Hanoi, Viet Nam. 1. Date: Feb. 24 - Feb. 26 2. Venue: Melia Hotel, Hanoi, Viet Nam 3. Agendas: Operational Plan for APEC Future Education Forum and ICT                   Model School Network Henceforth, ICT Model Schools are to be nominated until 3rd week of March and the 1st APEC Future Education Forum will be convened in April. The 3rd Steering Committee Meeting will be tentatively held in July 2005.
