 Report on Results of Chinese Taipei ACA Projects

The results are in on the "APEC Cyber Academy & 2003 International Online Contest" hosted in Chinese Taipei from October through December, 2003.

10 Korean ALCoB teachers participated in this contest, teaming with students. Five Korean project teams were awarded and one of them (KyungHee Lee, Kyungwoon Middle School) received the second award with a computer as a prize.

In this contest, a teacher with a few students formed each group and collaborated on a task selected from seven topics.

The teams who received awards are given a certificate from APEC and the Taiwan Ministry of Education. Especially, the three best performing teams received a computer as a prize in addition to the certificate.

The Korean ALCoBs who received the award are as follows:

1. KyungHee Lee (Kyungwoon Middle School, Golden sea team), Topic: "Our Advertisement", second award
2. KyungSoo Park (Sangdo Middle School, Sangdo team), Topic: "Our Holiday"
3. JaeKyeon Oh (Koosan Middle School, Pine tree team), Topic: "Our Holiday"
4. MiSook Lee (Sokcho Elementary School, Sokcho zzang team), Topic: "Bacteria Assembly"
5. JaeYeob Jung (Kwonsun Elementary School. Credit at last team), Topic: "Money"

Congratulations to the award recipients, and the IACE secretariat appreciates all the ALCoB teachers who participated in this contest for their participation.
