APEC Future Education Forum aims at crystallizing the vision of future education and materializing ideal model of future schools from a wide spectrum of viewpoints on future society and education among scholars, experts, policy makers and educators in the APEC region. 16 consortium member economies share their best practices and directions of future education on the purpose of narrowing digital divide and promoting shared prosperity within the APEC region.
APEC Future Education Forum 2010, concurrently held with the 8th International ALCoB Conference from October 20th to 22nd, 2010 in Korea National University of Education located in ChungNam Province, will provide a valuable opportunity for scholars, government officials, researchers, teachers, and entrepreneurs to share their best practices and ideas on future education, and thus to promote reciprocal collaboration in education field.
Prominent and prospective researchers and scholars are invited to submit abstracts of their proposed papers to the Secretariat of the APEC Future Education Forum, Institute of APEC Collaborative Education (IACE). Abstract should be written in English and not exceed a half page of A4 paper, Times New Roman, Point 12. Relevance to the theme and the round table sub-themes of the Forum, and freshness and originality will be major considerations in selecting the papers. The Secretariat reserves the right to decline proposals without giving reasons. Abstracts should be submitted by July 15th, and completed manuscripts of papers should be submitted no later than September 15th.
